For the first time Deepto TV organised "SMC MoniMix Plus Khude Biggyani Award 2022", which was held on Friday, July 1, at Pan Pacific Sonargaon Hotel, Dhaka.

The grand reception was co-hosted by Tarin Jahan and Ferdous Bappy. Noted singer Ferdous Wahid entertained the audience with his timeless hit "Mamonia", with an entourage of dancers. Aysha Labonnyo's dance performance with her group was liked by the audience, as was a fashion show featuring the 10 little scientists choreographed by Asad Khan.

Judges of the final episodes were media personality Dr Abdun Noor Tushar, Dr Lafifa Jamal, Department of Robotics and Mechatronics, University of Dhaka, Dr Mohammad Kaikobad, academic, scientist, writer.

The winners were honoured by State Minister of Social Welfare Sharif Ahmed, and Science and Technology Minister Yafes Osman. 

Kazi Zahedul Hasan, Managing Director, Deepto TV, Toslim Uddin Khan, Deputy Managing Director, SMC, Dr Parveen and Kazi Jahin Hasan, Directors of Deepto TV, and Fuad Chowdhury, Chief Executive Officer, Deepto TV, also attended the event.

The awards were divided into two categories -- junior section in group A and senior section in group B— Sams Rahman Mugdho, Om Avro Chowdhury, and Cornelius Jeffery Gomes from St Joseph Higher Secondary School.

Winners were given the prize of BDT 1 Lakh, while first and second runners-up were given BDT 50 Thousand and BDT 25 Thousand respectively.
