Fan opens temple in honour of Samantha
Renowned Indian actor Samantha Ruth Prabhu, has charmed countless fans both in India and abroad, with her excellent on-screen presence. Recently, she turned 36 on April 28.
While the star only shared a few throwback pictures of her younger days on the occasion, a die-hard fan of Samantha, Tenali Sandeep built an entire temple for his favourite actress.
Tenali inaugurated the special temple named 'The Temple of Samantha' with a yellow statue of the star on her birthday, with pictures of the event going viral on social media. The fan is a resident of Bapatla district in Andhra Pradesh, India. He decided to build the temple at his home premise.
While surprising, this isn't the first time a temple has been built in honour of a superstar in India. Amitabh Bachchan, Rajinikanth, Pawan Kalyan, and the late actor NT Rama Rao amongst other celebrities have also had temples dedicated to them.
Samantha was last seen in the film "Shaakuntalam", directed by Gunasekhar. She will soon reappear before fans in the upcoming production "Kushi" and in the Indian spin-off version of the spy-thriller series, "Citadel".
