Christmas, the most significant religious celebration for Christians, is being observed today. To mark the occasion, various television channels across the country have scheduled special programmes.

Maasranga Television will air a special drama titled "Merian" tonight at 10:30 PM. Written by Mezbah Uddin Sumon and directed by Jayanta Rosario, the drama features actors Manoj Pramanik, Orsha, Faruk Ahmed, and Mili Basher, among others. 

The plot follows Jon, who returns to his homeland after receiving news of his uncle's passing. Struggling with his grief, he frequently visits the cemetery to light candles in his uncle's memory. There, he notices a girl who prays and lights candles for neglected graves. Jon is touched by her compassion and becomes intrigued. One day, he decides to approach her and engage in conversation.

Mosharraf Karim stars in latest episode of ‘Dui Shaw’, dropping tonight

RTV is set to air the drama "Bou Er Mon Police Police" tonight at 8 PM. Penned by Anamika Mondal and directed by Imran Howlader, the drama features Niloy Alamgir, Tania Brishty, and others in leading roles. 

The plot revolves around Jahir and Sumi, a con artiste couple who make a living by deceiving people. Their lives take an unexpected turn when, while assisting a thief, they land themselves in deep trouble. In a desperate bid to escape, they hide in their home but fail to evade capture. Ultimately, they choose to confess their crimes and surrender to the police.

On this joyous occasion of Christmas, Duronto TV has lined up several special programs to delight its young audience. 

Today, at 11:30 AM and 8:30 PM, a festive episode of the popular drama "Hoi Hoi Holla" will grace the screen. 

The story follows Safdar Chowdhury, who plans a cheerful surprise by dressing as Santa Claus to secretly deliver gifts to everyone in the household. However, an unexpected twist arises when the gifts he bought are mysteriously stolen. 

The cast features renowned artistes Abul Hayat and Shahnaz Khushi, alongside talented child artistes Kazi Afra Evelina, Ishraq Turja, Samadrita Prohor, Ayaz Mahmud, Raida Rhi Juni, Kawsar Bin Mamun, and others.

At 2:30 PM and 7:30 PM, viewers can tune in for a special episode of "Banai Mojar Khabar Ma-Baba Aar Ami."

Earlier in the day, at 9:00 AM, the vibrant dance show "Aji Shubhodine" already kicked off the festivities with energetic performances.
