‘Gadar 2’ becomes the 3rd highest grossing Hindi film in India
Sunny Deol and Ameesha Patel starrer "Gadar 2" has been doing quite well in the Indian box since its release on August 11. On the sixteenth day of the film's screening across India, "Gadar 2" has already surpassed "KGF 2" (Hindi version) and has taken its place as the third highest-grossing Hindi film.
According to media reports, Anil Sharma directorial "Gadar 2" has collected a total of Rs 438.70 crore on its sixteenth screening day. Meanwhile, Prashanth Neel's "KGF 2" (Hindi version) collected a total of Rs 435 crore.
Sharing his happiness on the film crossing Rs 400 crore mark, Sunny Deol posted a video of himself thanking the fans on Instagram. He said, "First and foremost thank you all that you liked the film so much. I never imagined you guys would like 'Gadar 2' so much. We have crossed 400 crores because of you all and we will go ahead."
Currently, "Gadar 2" is tailing just behind the Prabhas starrer "Baahubali: The Conclusion" (Hindi version) and Shah Rukh Khan starrer "Pathaan". The film is expected to cross the Rs 500 crore mark soon.
