The film's import director Anonno Mamun told The Daily Star that it is impossible to state the exact figure. So far, it has earned Tk 70 lakhs since its release in Bangladesh till yesterday.

"Due to high demand, the number of 'Jawan' screenings at Star Cineplex and Lion theatres has increased. I believe the trend will last a long period in our country. This week, I believe the number of cinema halls will increase. However, due to most movie theaters' poor state, we could not expand its distribution. However, the quantity of shows has increased," said Anonno Mamun.

The action flick "Jawan" has been directed by Atlee Kumar. It stars Nayanthara and Vijay Sethupathi alongside Shah Rukh Khan. The film tells the story of a father and son fighting corruption in India.
