Talented actress Nazia Haque Orsha earned much praise for her role in "Satkahon", as well as her recent appearance in the web film "Network Er Baire".

In a conversation with The Daily Star, the rising star got candid about a recent project, from which she was dropped.

Yesterday, Orsha claimed on her Facebook profile that noted director Aranyo Anawer had approached her for his debut feature film. 

Later, the director had finalised Pori Moni without informing Orsha.

"Around ten to fifteen days ago, Aranyo Anawer approached me for his debut film," says Orsha. "I was shooting at Bandarban at that time, and told him we will talk after my return."

The actress informs that they had several conversations on the project, she had also read the script of the film. 

"Since it is a big project, I needed time to understand and prepare for the role and look for the film."

Yet, the actress managed to reshuffle her schedule and fixed an eight-day lot with the director.

 "I was also told to be the only choice for the role. He is a senior director; he can take anyone he thinks who fits the character. However, he should have done this in a professional manner."

 According to Orsha, Aranyo Anawer gave her a date to meet and finalise the film. Orsha also added that she had asked for an advance payment as well.

However, he had signed another artiste, and news was published before she was informed about it. "I received a message from him explaining that due to technical reasons the project is not happening anymore, and he will get in touch with me soon. I found it really upsetting, because he lied to me ."

The actress also shared that she often gets criticised for being too outspoken. "I am an outspoken person, and I can't tolerate dishonesty. Some people may not like it but I will raise my voice." 

"I am glad that I am not associated with any project that began with dishonesty!"

The actress shared that after her post, many of her colleagues have said that this has been happening for a long time. "My point is, why aren't we raising our voices against this kind of unprofessional conduct?"

Today, Abu Hayat Mahmud's debut web film "The Broker" has been released on ZEE5 Global. It features noted actor Mosharraf Karim alongside Orsha as leads.

"It is a simple story that highlights the helplessness of a family and a true bond between the relationships," says the actress.It is Orsha's first project premiered on ZEE5 Global.

The actress' debut web film, the Mizanur Rahman Aryan directorial "Network Er Baire", was a huge success.

"After Golam Sohrab Dodul's mega serial aired on Desh Tv 'Shatkahon', people used to call me by the name Deepaboli, the character I played. After 'Netwrok Er Baire' people are calling me Doctor Tania," says Orsha.

"While shooting in Bandarban, local people tried to grab my attention by reciting the dialogues and playing songs from the film. Such a response is really overwhelming. I still get tags and mentions on social media regarding this role."
