I had to purchase my own film's ticket from black market: Sariful Razz
As "Poran" enters its 8th week, the number of halls for the movie keeps increasing to satiate the audience's demand. As most tickets for "Poran" are sold out, some viewers have opted to buy tickets from the black market.
Sariful Razz and the film's director, Raihan Rafi, were forced to buy tickets for the 6 pm show of "Poran" on Friday from the black market. No tickets were available at the cinema hall's ticket counter.
Sariful Razz posted a video of the incident on his official Facebook account on Friday with the following caption: "In my life, I have bought tickets from the black market to watch many movies. As 'Poran' enters its 8th week, I couldn't believe my eyes that I had to buy tickets for the show at Madhumita cinema hall from the black, along with the film's director."
The actor and the director looked unrecognisable in the video, wearing masks to cover their faces. Razz also sported a black cap to hide his long and curly hair. Both of them bargained with the black market sellers and brought four tickets of "Poran" for 250 each.
Alongside local halls, "Poran" was also released in Australia recently, where the tickets for the film were pre-booked. The film is also slated for release in three European countries next month.
The Raihan Rafi directorial, which features Yash Rohan, Bidya Sinha Mim, Sariful Razz, Rosey Siddiqui, Shahiduzzaman Selim, and Nasir Uddin Khan, will also release in multiple theatres across the US soon.
