Small screen actress Faria Shahrin received a lot of appreciation for her character Antara in the popular drama-serial, "Bachelor Point". The actress is usually very vocal on social media about her experience in showbiz. This time, she has posted a status concerning a fellow actress, Prarthana Fardin Dighi.

In the status, Faria took to comparing Dighi's plight in showbiz with that of young and prodigious talent in India. Faria would write, "I feel like if Dighi had been in Bollywood, she would be a star, who would be cast in a lot of Karan Johar films. Sadly, she was born in Bangladesh, thus she has been held back."

Following this, the former Channel i Lux Superstar also added that only a mother can properly guide a child. She empathised with Dighi, noting that the actress (Dighi) was self made, having had to navigate the media industry by herself without any 'backup'.

Faria also said,"I feel like if a director gave her a good script, she might be able to flourish. I am a self-made woman myself and it feels good to see people trying to succeed on their own. A lot of people body-shamed Dighi, but she did lose weight—which shows effort to change. We should appreciate that and not look down upon it. A lot of people now might say many things to me, but I don't care."

The actress's comment section was flooded with netizens agreeing with her and heaping praise on Dighi, with many showing their sympathy and appreciation for both the artistes.
