If I ever considered surgery, I'd have fixed my crooked tooth: Apu Biswas

Having spent nearly two decades in the film industry, actress Apu Biswas stands as one of the most popular actresses in Dhallywood. Boasting an extensive filmography, she has outpaced her peers in terms of movie count. However, her journey has been filled with both achievements and controversies, often tied to her personal life.

In recent years, speculation swirled around Apu Biswas undergoing lip surgery, which sparked discussions among her fans on social media. The actress had previously addressed these rumours, and they once again surfaced during a recent press meeting.

During the press event, Apu Biswas candidly expressed, "There have been claims that I underwent lip surgery. But if I ever considered surgery, I'd have actually fix my crooked front tooth before my lips."

Apu Biswas was in the spotlight at the "Summer Fest" event held last Saturday. While talking to the media, she discussed her personal journey and the obstacles she has faced. Speaking about her body and health, she mentioned, "I've always had a bit of a healthy body, never been very skinny. Addressing these issues, both with my teeth and my health, became a personal challenge for me."

"I believed that my talent and the love from the audience would carry me forward in my career," she added.

Following her journey into motherhood, Apu Biswas naturally gained some weight, which drew scrutiny from online users who commented on her pictures and videos during that time. Undeterred by criticism, she revealed that she accepted the challenge, transformed herself, and successfully returned to her profession.

"Many people doubted whether I could make a comeback. Thanks to everyone's prayers and support, I've been busier than ever, and I can't thank everyone enough," Apu expressed her gratitude.

Apu Biswas's most recent appearance was in the movie "Laal Shari". The actress made her debut as a producer with this government-funded film.

Directed by Bandhan Biswas, the film centres around the lives of handloom weavers.
