'My relationship with Puja is purely professional': Shakib Khan to take legal action against slander

Dhallywood 'King' Shakib Khan will take legal action against YouTube channels and Facebook pages which share false information about him, confirmed the actor to The Daily Star.

Many opportunists are spreading rumours against him, saying various things about him and actress Puja Chery.

"Enough 'view' business," wrote Shakib on his verified Facebook page. "I can't believe people can spread such falsehood just for views and likes, they deserve legal punishment."

Shakib Khan went on to say that these pages are creating issues for self-gain. "Is it Puja's fault that she has professionally worked with me? We have no relationship, other than a professional one."

"Some dirty minded people are doing this, can they back up their nonsense with proof?", he further said.

Shakib also blamed some news portals for giving in to these rumours and publishing some baseless news. "I firmly protest these atrocities, and there are laws against slander. I will take legal action."
