A few months ago, rumours began to circulate on social media that Bollywood actress Jacqueline Fernandez was in a romantic relationship with conman Sukesh Chandrasekhar. In the most recent development, a photo has gone viral on Twitter, prompting fans to wonder if the two are actually involved.

The photo of Jacqueline Fernandez with Sukesh Chandrasekhar has stirred controversy, just weeks after the actress denied any relationship with the conman. Chandrasekhar is seen kissing Jacqueline's cheeks as the two pose for a mirror selfie. As per reports, the photo was allegedly taken between April and June of this year, when he was out on interim bail.

For the uninformed, Chandrasekhar, also known as Balaji, deceived people by promising them jobs. He allegedly tricked more than 100 people and cheated them to the tune of Rs 75 crore while posing as a relative of a politician.

The phone shown in the photo is the same one he used to carry out the scam, as per reports.

Jacqueline had previously been embroiled in controversy after being summoned by the Enforcement Directorate in connection with a money laundering case involving Chandrasekhar. The actress was dating the conman, according to his lawyer. Jacqueline's spokesperson issued a statement as well, denying any involvement with him or his wife, actress Leena Maria Paul. The ED has summoned Jacqueline to testify as a witness, according to her spokesperson.

She has duly recorded her statements and will be fully cooperating with the agency in future investigations. Jacqueline also categorically denies making slanderous statements about the involved couple's relationship. Anant Malik, the lawyer who represents Chandrashekhar, previously stated that Jacqueline and Sukesh were dating; these are his instructions, straight from the horse's mouth.

As per reports, Chandrasekhar and his alleged girlfriend, Leena Maria Paul, were arrested in 2011 for defrauding Chennai-based Canara Bank. Both were later released on bail. But Chandrasekhar refused to change his ways.
