'Jawan' clips stolen and leaked online: SRK's production house files complaint
Shah Rukh Khan's "Jawan" has become a victim of piracy as video clips from the upcoming movie were shared on Twitter.
SRK's production house, Red Chillies Entertainment, had filed a complaint with the Mumbai Police station over the leaked scenes.
According to the FIR, the production company stated that the people on the set were not permitted to use mobile phones during the filming in order to prevent the leak of shooting videos. Despite the precautions, someone stole the film's videos and posted them on social media without permission.
In the FIR, the production company identified five Twitter handles and supplied information about the people who use these handles.
Red Chillies had contacted the Delhi High Court and launched a commercial litigation in response to the leak of the film's films, and had successfully obtained a court order directing Twitter to remove the leaked videos.
"Jawan" is slated to be released across theatres on September 7.
