Kangana Ranaut calls Aamir Khan ‘Bechara’
Renowned Indian actor Aamir Khan recently appeared in the launching ceremony of noted Indian writer Shobhaa De's new book "Insatiable: My Hunger for Life", in Mumbai.
At the function, the actor was asked, who could portray Shabhaa De best if a biopic was made on her life.
The "Dangal" actor suggested Deepika Padukone, Priyanka Chopra, and Alia Bhatt's names at the event. He apparently did not want to take Kangana Ranaut's name, yet Shobhaa added "You forgot one–Kangana."
Afterward, Aamir mildly praised Kangana, saying, "Yea, she would do it well as well. Kangana would do it well. She is a strong actor, she's very versatile."
As the video of the book launch went viral on social media, the "Tanu Weds Manu" actress also tweeted her thoughts.
She wrote, "Bechara Aamir Khan … ha ha he tried his best to pretend like he doesn't know that I am the only three times national award-winning actress none of those he mentioned has even one … Thank you Shobhaa De ji. I would love to play you."

"Shobhaa ji and I have opposing political views but that doesn't stop her from acknowledging my art, hard work, and dedication to my craft that is the reflection of one's integrity and value system…. Wish you the best for your new book, Ma'am," she tweeted again.
Kangana just wrapped up her directorial film "Emergency" recently, which is expected to be released in October this year.
