Kangana Ranaut remarks on three Khans of Bollywood
Kangana Ranaut is predominantly known as one of those who speaks her mind, regardless of the political dynamics that exist behind the scenes of Bollywood. The actress had previously made controversial comments on the three Khans of Bollywood, namely – Shah Rukh, Aamir and Salman.
However, the "Tanu Weds Manu" actress now seems to have experienced a change of heart about her stance on the three Bollywood megastars.
Recently, Kangana visited Salman Khan's "Bigg Boss" season 17 for the promotion of her upcoming film "Tejas". The actress had praised Shah Rukh Khan's last film "Jawan" and seemed to be quite friendly with Salman Khan there.
In her latest interview, the actress was asked "Why the sudden change of heart?"
Kangana then shared with the media, "I have never said anything unreasonable about the Khans. My main issue was the shorter length of female roles (in their films) and the age of the actresses who were cast opposite them (Khans). I see how that is now changing. Actresses over the ages of 35 - 40 are becoming the heroines of Khans. I have fought for these changes. If the change hadn't transpired then we would have perhaps had to see the younger actresses play the roles of Khan's mothers on-screen even a decade later."
The "Queen" actress was also asked if she had become a bit diplomatic when speaking her mind now as there are many ongoing defamation against her. Kangana responded, "I am not scared of speaking against anyone but when you have to go to court, then you feel that this is such a waste of time."
Kanaga Ranaut is currently spending quite a busy time as her upcoming film "Tejas" is set to hit the theatres on October 27. The film about Indian Air Force pilot is directed by Sarvesh Mewara.
