Police ask Allu Arjun to keep hospital visit to ‘Pushpa 2’ victim private
Tollywood star Allu Arjun has secured regular bail following the "Pushpa 2" stampede tragedy. The incident claimed a woman's life, while her eight-year-old son has still been receiving treatment at KIMS Hospital. Meanwhile, the Ramgopalpet Police Station in Hyderabad has issued a new directive to the actor, advising him to maintain discretion regarding his visit to the injured child to prevent any disruption to public order.
Previously, Allu Arjun visited the Chikkadpally Police Station to fulfil the conditions outlined in his bail order by the Nampally Court. During this time, he intended to meet the injured eight-year-old boy at KIMS Hospital.
However, his legal advisers recommended against the visit. Now, the police have issued a formal notice to the actor, instructing him to keep any meeting with the child confidential and avoid publicising it.
The notice stated that the Ramgopalpet and North Zone Police had arranged for Allu Arjun's visit to KIMS Hospital in Secunderabad at 10:30am on January 5, 2025. This was based on prior confirmation that the actor would adhere to the conditions set by law enforcement to ensure public order within and around the hospital premises.
However, at the last moment, his manager informed the authorities that the visit had been cancelled, preventing him from meeting the young stampede victim and his father, who has been staying by the child's side during treatment.
The notice further emphasised that the authorities were prepared to facilitate Allu Arjun's visit to the injured child at KIMS Hospital, Secunderabad, within an hour's notice. The Ramgopalpet Police assured full security and escort throughout the visit, ensuring that public order remained intact.
As per Telugu360, Allu Arjun has yet to visit the injured child but is expected to do so soon.
The actor became embroiled in controversy on December 4, following a tragic stampede at a promotional event for "Pushpa 2". The incident resulted in the death of 35-year-old Revathi, while her eight-year-old son sustained injuries and is currently undergoing treatment.
