‘MasterChef’ judge Jock Zonfrillo passes away
Jock Zonfrillo, a judge from the popular cooking reality show "MasterChef Australia", passed away yesterday at the age of 46. The news was confirmed via a statement from Channel 10.
As of now, the cause of the celebrity chef's death has been undisclosed to the public.
In the statement, Jock Zonfrillo's family said, "With completely shattered hearts and without knowing how we can possibly move through life without him, we are devastated to share that Jock passed away yesterday. We implore you to please let us grieve privately as we find a way to navigate through this and find space on the other side to celebrate our irreplaceable husband, father, brother, son and friend."
Meanwhile, "MasterChef Australia" took to social media, writing, "Network 10 and Endemol Shine Australia are deeply shocked and saddened at the sudden loss of Jock Zonfrillo, a beloved member of the MasterChef Australia family."
Jock Zonfrillo made his "MasterChef Australia" debut in 2019. The culinary artist was amongst the youngest to complete a culinary apprenticeship from Scotland's famous Turnberry Hotel.
