After making his directorial debut in Tollywood with "Manush" (2023), Bangladeshi filmmaker Sanjoy Somadder is returning home to direct his next film, starring two of the country's most sought-after actors, Mosharraf Karim and Sariful Razz.

Though the male leads are locked in, the search for the female lead is ongoing. Tasnia Farin has been rumoured to be in talks for the role, but Sanjoy remains tight-lipped. "I've had discussions with many actors, not just Farin. Auditions are part of the process, and we'll choose the actress who best fits the role. An official announcement will follow soon," he said.

Interestingly, the film's title is still under consideration, with two options on the table: "Inquilab" and "Insaf". Sanjoy explained that both titles fit the film's narrative, but a final decision will come after further deliberation.

This film will showcase Sariful Razz in a dynamic action role, while Mosharraf Karim is set to play a dark, villainous character. The project marks the return of production house Titas Kathachitra, which has been absent from filmmaking for several years.

Shooting is expected to begin in early February, with Sanjoy taking a methodical approach to ensure the film's quality. "I want to give my absolute best to make this a great movie. I'm not rushing towards a release date. Once the production is complete, we'll decide on the film's release strategy," he said.
