There are a good number of films that await release. The first theatrical release of this year is Siam Ahmed and Puja Cherry starrer "Shaan". Based on true events, it is a cop action thriller directed by M Rahim, and written by Azad Khan. It also features Takseen Rahman, Syed Hasan Imam, Champa, and Aruna Biswas among others. Dialogues and screenplay have been jointly written by Azad Khan and Nazim Ud Daula.

"For an actor, each project is equally crucial," says Siam. "This is my first action movie, and I am quite excited about it."

Pori Moni and Mosharraf Karim featuring "Mukhosh" release on January 21. The government granted film is directed by Iftekhar Shuvo, which also features Ziaul Roshan, Iresh Zaker, and Pran Ray, among others.

According to the team of "Mukhosh", the first song of the film will be released tomorrow (January 2).

Rafiath Rashid Mithila's debut film "Omanush" will hit theatres on January 28. The film, directed by Anonno Mamun, also casts Nirab Hossain, Qazi Nawshaba Ahmed, Misha Sawdagar, Shahiduzzaman Selim, Rashed Mamun Apu, Don, and Anondo Khaled among others. "This is my 16th feature film, I hope the audience will get to see something new in this film. I can assure all the characters of this project will stun the audience.

Gias Uddin Selim's "Paap Punno" will be released on February 4. The Impress telefilm production stars Chanchal Chowdhury, Afsana Mimi, Siam Ahmed, Shahnaz Shumi, Fazlur Rahman Babu, Mamunur Rashid, Gausul Alam Shawon, Farzana Chumki, and Monir Khan Shimul, among others.

"Talash" is another project slated to be released on February 4. Directed by Saikat Nasir, the plot revolves around a group of youngsters, who are passionate about music. The film features Shobnom Bubly along with Ador Azad and Asif Ahsan Khan.

Marking Valentine's Day, Raihan Rafi's much anticipated movie "Poran" will be released. It stars Bidya Sinha Mim, Sariful Razz and Yash Rohan.
