‘Pagla Hawa’: A humorous take on rural Bangladesh’s cultural clashes
The once urban-centric phenomenon of digital cultural distortion has gradually seeped into rural areas, bringing with it a fascinating clash between traditional values and subcultures. This cultural dichotomy is at the heart of the upcoming comedy series "Pagla Hawa", written and directed by Nahid Hasnat.
Drawing inspiration from the humorous yet thought-provoking incidents arising within rural Bangladesh's social framework, "Pagla Hawa" promises to highlight the quirky realities of village life.
The series is produced by the YouTube channel Gama Flix and features renowned filmmaker and actor Saraf Ahmed Zibon as its creative producer. Fans of Zibon will get to see him in an entirely new light as he steps into a role vastly different from his previous work.
The ensemble cast also includes standout performances by Saddam Mall, Tanzim Hasan Anik, Nusrat Jahan Spriha, Abul Fazal Mohammad Ritu, Mona Shamim, Javed Gazi, and others, promising a captivating viewing experience.
