You have hosted a lot of events and shows. Tell us a bit about your hosting experience.

I quite enjoy hosting and honestly, I love this job. A lot of people think that hosting is an easy job as long as you're a pretty face. That's not how it is. To host an event you have to be quick-witted and possess a firm grasp of general knowledge.

The legendary soccer player Ronaldinho Gaúcho recently came to Dhaka and you interviewed him. What did that feel like?

Meeting Ronaldinho Gaúcho was like a dream come true for me. I thought I would be conversing with him in English, but he spoke in Portuguese. So, I told him 'I love you' in Portuguese. Meeting him up close, he felt like a pretty calm and collected man. When I asked him 'Who's your favourite? Maradona or Pelé'. He answered that both are great players. He told me that he doesn't have a singular favourite player. Interviewing him was an amazing experience.

You've interviewed numerous sports celebrities from both within Bangladesh and abroad. Have you ever fallen in love with any of them?

It's usually the other way around — many sports celebrities fell for me. However, I didn't fall for them. Though I have formed a beautiful bond of friendship with many of the famous players. For instance, I am a huge fan of Shakib Al Hasan and I love Mashrafe as our cricket team's captain.

Do you have a memorable event that you hosted?

I have hosted several memorable events which truly claimed a place in my heart. I have hosted BPL both from the studio and live from the stadium. I once got to interview a renowned player of the West Indies, Andre Russell. I have also interviewed Shakib, Mashrafe, and Tamim. All of these interviews are precious memories that I will treasure throughout my life.

There was a rumour that you were supposed to act in the Shakib Khan and Bubly starrer film "Bossgiri". What happened there?

"Bossgiri" was a successful film but back then, I was not mentally prepared for films. For me to sign a film, I have to like the script and the director of the project. I just personally didn't like the script of "Bossgiri". Moreover, back then I had also gotten an offer to star opposite Indian actor Jeet.

You have previously acted in several tele-fictions. What are your future acting plans?

I prefer to act in special tele-fictions for special occasions like Eid or Valentine's Day. Last Eid, I in fact appeared in two tele-fictions directed by Mabrur Rashid Bannah, and both received much appreciation from the audience. Currently, I am in talks regarding starring in a web-film.

As a popular host yourself, is there a host who inspires you?

Yes. There's Abdun Noor Tushar who's also a doctor like me. And there's also Munmun apa who is a great inspiration for me.

You're a professional doctor. Tell us a bit about your life as a doctor.

I am currently employed at Dhaka Medical College. Not only do I treat patients there but I also teach medical students. My students are quite fond of me, and my patients also have positive feedbacks to say about me. For me, this is a huge achievement.
