Pori Moni is all set to make her debut in Kolkata's film industry with the much-anticipated mystery-thriller "Felubakshi", which is scheduled for release on January 17. 

Fans first heard about her Kolkata project in early March this year, and after months of speculation, the production house has finally confirmed the release date.

Directed by Debraj Sinha, "Felubakshi" is a gripping thriller where Pori Moni plays the character Labonno. Starring alongside her are renowned Kolkata actors Soham Chakraborty, Madhumita Sarcar, and others.

Speaking about her role, Pori Moni expressed her confidence in portraying the character: "When I first read Labonno's character, I instinctively knew I could do justice to it. That's why I took on the role. How well I've done, only the audience will decide."

It's also worth noting that this isn't the only project Pori Moni has been busy with. Her first-ever web series, "Rongila Kitab", directed by Anam Biswas, was released on the OTT platform Hoichoi on November 8. She received praise for her portrayal of the character Supti, further solidifying her versatility as an actor.
