It is worth mentioning that Wari and Bateshwar, located in the Belabo and Shibpur upazilas of Narsingdi, are home to an archaeological site spanning two villages. It is believed to be a fortified city buried underground. According to experts, the site is estimated to be around 2,500 years old.

"Once Upon a Time in Wari Bateshwar" marks Rajib Rafi's first short film as a director.

Earlier, in 2019, "The Last Post Office," directed by Aung Rakhine and scripted by Rajib Rafi, was screened at the same festival.
