‘RRR’ director announces a biopic on the father of Indian cinema
The "RRR" famed director SS Rajamouli has recently taken the fans by surprise, announcing a new project, titled "Made In India". This time, Rajamouli plans to be the backend helper for the new film, which is a biopic on the founding father of Indian cinema, Dadasaheb Phalke.
Taking to his social media accounts, the renowned director shared a small clip of the film with the caption, "When I first heard the narration, it moved me emotionally like nothing else. Making a biopic is tough in itself, but conceiving one about the father of Indian cinema is even more challenging. Our boys are ready and up for it…With immense pride, presenting 'Made In India'".
While SS Rajamouli will not be directing "Made In India", the film is being jointly produced by Rajamouli's son, SS Karthikeya's production house, Showing Business and Max Studio. The film will be directed by Nitin Kakkar.
"Made In India" is expected to be released in six languages, including Marathi, Telugu, Hindi, Tamil, Malayalam and Kannada.
