A significant twist has emerged in the case of Saif Ali Khan's attack, as Mumbai Police revealed that the accused may have previously surveyed Bollywood superstar Shah Rukh Khan's residence, Mannat. According to several Indian media reports, the police suspect a connection between the two incidents after CCTV footage from Saif's Bandra apartment and Mannat captured images of a similar individual. Reports suggest that the attacker attempted to breach Mannat's high-security premises using an iron ladder but failed to gain entry.

This revelation came as the police detained the prime suspect and brought him to the Bandra Police Station for interrogation. As per Indian media, News24, authorities are now investigating whether there is a direct link between the activities near Mannat and the subsequent attack on Saif Ali Khan. On January 14, suspicious behaviour near Mannat was reported, including someone scrutinising the residence. However, further details remain undisclosed as the investigation unfolds.

The incident at Saif Ali Khan's Bandra home occurred late Wednesday night when an intruder broke into the apartment, reaching the 12th floor due to insufficient security measures. Saif was awakened by a confrontation between his house help and the intruder. During the altercation, the actor sustained six stab wounds, two of which were severe, including one dangerously close to his spine.

Following the attack, Saif was rushed to Lilavati Hospital by his son, Ibrahim Ali Khan, where a team of specialists, including Neurosurgeon Dr Nitin Dange, Cosmetic Surgeon Dr Leena Jain, and Anesthetist Dr Nisha Gandhi, performed extensive surgery. The procedure began at 5:30am and continued for several hours. Doctors successfully removed a 2.5-inch knife lodged near Saif's spine and treated a spinal fluid leak. While the actor remains in recovery, doctors have assured that his condition is stable.

Mumbai Police continue to piece together details about the suspect's motives, how they gained access to the apartment, and the broader implications of this violent act. Enhanced security measures and thorough investigative efforts are underway to bring an explanation to this case.
