Shah Rukh Khan’s ‘Jawan’ being postponed?
Shah Rukh Khan ended his four-year hiatus from Bollywood with the announcement of three films that will be released this year: "Pathaan", "Jawan" and "Danki". Shah Rukh Khan's "Pathaan" entered the Rs 500 crore club in India, becoming the first Bollywood film to do after yesterday's box-office collection.
However, now rumours are being spread that the actor's upcoming film, "Jawan", is likely to be postponed.
According to media outlets, the film was initially supposed to be released in theatres on June 2. However, the Atlee Kumar directorial film is yet to complete all of the shooting and post-production work for "Jawan". The project's VFX-related needs are being handled by Shah Rukh Khan's Red Chillies VFX company.
While no official confirmations have been made about the postponement, Shah Rukh Khan's other film, "Danki", is still likely to release on December 22 in theatres.
"Jawan" will star Vijay Sethupathi, Deepika Padukone, and Nayanthara in prominent roles.
