Taylor, Joe Alwyn break up reportedly caused by Swift’s fame
Taylor Swift and Joe Alwyn's breakup left fans shocked, after the couple decided to part ways after six years together. Now, new reports are suggesting that the couple had an 'amicable' breakup and it happened due to 'differences in their personalities'.
According to People magazine, Taylor and Joe's breakup was mainly due to a contrast in their personalities. They had plenty of things in common and felt pretty secure in their relationship. Their relationship further strengthened when they were in lock down together, during the COVID-19 pandemic. However, after the pandemic, once Joe realised the level of success and fame Taylor had, he struggled with the overall attention their relationship got from the public.
Due to their contrasting lifestyle and difference in personalities, they 'grew apart' but they still respect each other.
The couple had kept their relationship highly discreet over the years, even though they had reportedly started dating after the Met Gala in 2017. Taylor and Joe have yet to publicly comment on news of their breakup.
Taylor's tenth studio album, "Midnights", was released in October of last year.
