Kabori, the 'Mishti Meye' of Bangladeshi cinema, has not been with us for two years now. On April 17, 2021, the actress left this world behind after a long battle with COVID.

Among her many timeless films are "Sutorang", "Heeraramon", "Sujon Sokhi", "Moina Moti", "Chorabali", "Binimoy", "Rangbaz", "Sareng Bou", "Bahana", and "Titash Ekti Nadir Naam", just to name a few. 

Her characters from these films will forever live in the minds of the audience. In her memory and to honour her legacy, a road in a city of Bangladesh has been named after the legendary actor.

The Kabori starrer film, "Ka Kha Ga Gha Umo" was shot in the city of Chuadanga. The shooting took place around 1969. The road adjacent to the house where the film was shot has since been named 'Kabori Road'.

In 1969, the entire team of the film—including Kabori and Razzak—lived in the house called 'Setab Manzil' in Chuadanga city. That is why the road adjacent to that house would eventually be named Kabori Road.

The cinematographer of "Ka Kha Ga Gha Umo" was the late Baby Islam. He was shooting for the film in his hometown of Chuadanga to reduce the cost of the shooting. The film was directed by Narayan Ghosh Mita.

"Ka Kha Ga Gha Umo" was shot in different parts of Chuadanga. Later, the film would be released in 1972. Now, the house next to Kabori Road has been renamed to 'Kabori Mess'.
