Veteran actor Ron Cephas-Jones, who is best known for his role in the family drama series "This Is Us" breathed his last yesterday. The 66-year-old actor's passing was confirmed to the media by his manager Dan Spilo through an emailed statement.

Dan Spilo shared in his statement, "Throughout the course of his career, his warmth, beauty, generosity, kindness and heart were felt by anyone who had the good fortune of knowing him."

Ron Cephas-Jones had an illustrious acting career and even won the Emmy award twice. The actor had featured in multiple films and series including, "Truth Be Told", "Marvel's Luke Cage", "Shazam!", "A Raisin in the Sun", "Dog Days" and "Paid in Full" among many others.

According to Ron Cephas-Jones's manager, the actor had lost his life "due to a long-standing pulmonary issue". The actor had previously had a double lung transplant back in 2022 and was even hospitalised for two months due to it.

Learning about Ron's demise, the director of the family drama "This Is Us", Dan Fogelman shared on his social media accounts, "My God: what an actor. I don't think I ever changed a single take of his in a cut because everything he did was perfect. The best of the best – on screen, on stage, and in real life."
