Who will win in the inaugural “Chorki Award”?
One of the prominent OTT platforms of the country, Chorki has announced the launching of "Chorki Award" to honor all the directors, actors and crew who have worked with the platform. The awards will be given in an event called Chorki Carnival on October 8, to celebrate one year of togetherness.
Awards in 17 categories have been arranged. The voting process has been opened for the audience, from today. The audience can vote for their favourite artistes from the link https://www.chorki.com/award
"This award is organised to encourage the directors, actors and crew who have amazed the audience of Chorki with their good works. My heartfelt gratitude to those who have been with us from the very beginning," said Redoan Roni, chief operating officer of Chorki.
The nominees for the Best Film Award are: "Networker Baire", "Redrum", "Taan", "Khachar Bhitor Ochin Pakhi", "Munshigiri" while the nominees for the best series are: "Unoloukik", "Jaago Bahey", "Shaatikap", "Syndicate" and "Pett Kata Shaw".
The nominees for the Best Actor (Male), Series Award are: Afran Nisho for "Morichika" and "Syndicate", Mostafa Monwar for "Jaago Bahey" and "Unoloukik", Chanchal Chowdhury for "Mishti Kichu", Intekhab Dinar for "Dwikhondito" and Sohel Mondol for "Pett Kata Shaw" and "Unoloukik".
The nominees for the Best Actor (Female), Series Award are: Nazifa Tushi for "Syndicate", Nusrat Imrose Tisha for "Mrs Prohelika", Mahiya Mahi for "Morichika", Tasnia Farin for "Syndicate" and Afsana Mimi for "Nikhoj".
Chanchal Chowdhury, Afran Nisho also got nominations for the Best Actor (Male), Film Award for their performance in "Munshigiri" and "Redrum" respectively.
The award will be also be given in the category named "Chorki Power of Tomorrow" where the new directors and actors will be awarded.
The content which has the highest viewers till now will be awarded in the category called Most Watched Content.
The final winner will be selected through the analysis of Chorki's own database, audience feedback on social media, content analysis, esteemed jury scores and audience votes.
