SSC exams for May 14 under 5 boards postponed
The government has postponed Secondary School Certificate (SSC) and equivalent examinations slated for Sunday (May 14) under Chattogram, Cumilla, Barishal, technical, and madrasa education boards due to the incoming Cyclone Mocha.
Prof Tapan Kumar Sarkar, chief of the inter-education board coordination committee, told the Daily Star that they would announce the next date for the exam later.
"We will continue the exams in the other six boards as each board has separate question papers," said Tapan, also chairman of Dhaka Education Board.
Students of the general education board were scheduled to sit for physics, history, and finance exams on May 14. Technical students were set to take physics while madrasa students were set to take English first paper exam.
The SSC and equivalent exams for this year began on April 30 across the country.
