Electricity, fuel oil prices will be adjusted with open market: Nasrul Hamid

The price of electricity and fuel oil will be adjusted with the open market, Nasrul Hamid, state minister for energy, said today.

The authorities will consider the situation of consumers to keep prices at a tolerable level in the retail market, he added.

He made the comment at the third stakeholders' meeting of the Integrated Energy and Power Master Plan.

Japan International Cooperation Agency presented the master plan at a programme held at Hotel Intercontinental.
