Low pressure likely over Bay in 5 days: BMD
A low-pressure area is expected to form over the southeast Bay and adjoining regions within the next five days, starting from 9:00am today, according to the Bangladesh Meteorological Department (BMD).
In its regular bulletin, BMD said that a seasonal low currently lies over the south Bay, extending its trough to the north Bay.
Weather across the country is likely to remain dry with temporary partly cloudy skies. However, light rain or drizzle may occur at one or two places in Chattogram division.
Both night and day temperatures may drop slightly across the country, the bulletin added.
Additionally, light to moderate fog is expected in some areas during the late night and early morning hours.
