The Meteorological Office has forecast rain in six divisions of the country, including Dhaka, which may lead to a slight decrease in day temperatures.

According to the regular weather forecast issued this morning, the met office has predicted temporary gusty winds, lightning, rain, and thunderstorms in one or two places across Rajshahi, Dhaka, Khulna, Barisal, Chattogram, and Sylhet divisions over the next 24 hours, starting from 9:00am. Additionally, scattered hailstorms may occur in some areas.

Other parts of the country are expected to experience mainly dry weather with temporary partly cloudy skies. During this period, the day temperature may slightly decrease, while the night temperature may see a slight increase.

Afruza Sultana, assistant meteorologist at the Bangladesh Meteorological Department, said that during the Nor'wester season, the sky is expected to clear rapidly after rainfall. This weather pattern is expected to continue sporadically across different parts of the country until March 23.
