Temperatures likely to drop slightly: BMD

Bangladesh temperature forecast

The Bangladesh Meteorological Department (BMD) has forecast a slight drop in both day and night temperatures across the country tomorrow and the day after.

However, in the 24 hours starting from 9:00am today, night temperatures may rise slightly, while day temperatures are expected to remain nearly unchanged, according to the latest weather bulletin issued this morning.

The lowest temperature in the country today was recorded at 10.2 degrees Celsius in Rajarhat, Kurigram. In Dhaka, the minimum temperature stood at 14.5 degrees Celsius.

BMD also predicted that weather is likely to remain dry with a temporarily partly cloudy sky across the country over the next 72 hours.

During this period, light to moderate fog may occur in some areas late at night or early in the morning.
