'Woman in video' held

Police yesterday picked up a woman from Narsingdi's Shibpur upazila in connection with the July 1 Gulshan terror attack.

The detainee is thought to be one of the suspects seen in video clips of the Holey Artisan Bakery siege, said Khondakar Imam Hossain, officer-in-charge of Shibpur Police Station.  

Details about the woman could not be known.

Imam said a team of law enforcers from Dhaka came to Narsingdi and picked her up. “We were neither given any information nor contacted by anyone regarding this.”
