Police recovered the body of a havildar from city's BSCIC Industrial area yesterday morning.
The deceased was identified as Mohammed Idris, 37, son of one Sahar Mulluk of village Khilmogol under Rangunia upazila.
Police could not trace how Idris was killed. The body was sent to Chittagong Medical College Hospital (CMCH) morgue for autopsy, sources said.
Idris was returning his village home in Rangunia on the occasion of Eid from his working place Noakhali, sources added.
