At least seven died of dengue fever in the last 24 hours while 596 patients were hospitalised till yesterday morning.

Of the deaths, four were reported in Dhaka city, and one each in Dhaka, Mymensingh, and Rajshahi divisions.

According to the Directorate General of Health Services, with the new deaths and cases, the death toll rose to 529 while the total number of cases rose to 96,228.

Currently, 905 dengue patients are undergoing treatment in different hospitals in the capital and 1,327 across the country.

A total of 93,467 patients have been released till yesterday.
