Kadamtali triple murder: Accused confesses to magistrate

Mehjabin Islam Moon, an accused in the triple murder case of Kadamtali, today confessed to a magistrate that she was involved in killing her parents and sister.
Dhaka Metropolitan Magistrate Yeasmin Ara recorded her confessional statements after she was produced at the magistrate's chamber on completion of a four-day remand in a murder case, court sources said.

On June 20, a murder case was filed against Mehjabin Islam Moon and her husband Shafiqul Islam Arono on charge of killing Masud Rana, a Saudi expat; his wife Mousumi Islam and their daughter Jannatul Islam.
Moon was arrested in connection with the case and placed on a four-day remand that day.
