Nodi: Colours from the Chars launches at Unimart

Nodi is a social enterprise of Friendship, which markets items produced ethically by women in the char communities. 'Colours from the Chars by Friendship' is the lifestyle brand of Nodi.

Available at Dhaka's exclusive hypermarket Unimart, located in Gulshan 2, the products showcased are scarves, saris, bags, and fabrics. Nodi sells products created by Friendship's weaving, dyeing, printing, tailoring and embroidery centres aimed at local and global markets. With a burgeoning demand, it works towards maintaining fair trade practices, and is an ethical and environmentally aware company that believes in just and respectful practices towards the artisans.

Customers can also visit their first display centre located in K-14/2A, Baridhara North Road, Kalachandpur.
