Another KFC outlet- Yes please!
The toned down black and grey walls are complemented by a sudden pop of stark red here and there. Among the counter chairs and booths, stands a happy life-like statue of Colonel Sanders. The inviting casual lighting makes this outlet ideal for casual hangouts and family parties.
"I was at KFC as an invited guest to attend the 128th Birthday party of Colonel Harland Sanders, the founder of KFC. But this party was very different. The main guests for this party were children from 'MOJAR SCHOOL'… a street children education and welfare initiative by Odommo Bangladesh, a non-profit organization," said Amit Dev Thapa, COO of Transcom Foods.
"Our guests are really enjoying the new outlook. I am sure once the rest of them are completely informed of the new location, we will see more footfall," Thapa explains, adding, "We wish we could do more for the children who are deprived of the basic needs out there. We are trying to initiate Add Hope, (a global initiative to end world hunger) by KFC, in Bangladesh really soon. We strongly believe this would add our little bit towards ending world hunger and towards the welfare of the underprivileged children of Bangladesh."
Add Hope is a KFC initiative worldwide, where KFC inspires the employees and franchisees to give back to the local communities through the programme. In many countries they have joined hands with WFP. KFC Bangladesh is planning to launch Add Hope and soon enough, even you can be a part of this journey by donating!
