A covered van helper was killed and three highway policemen were injured as the van hit a truck parked on Dhaka-Chittagong highway near Dhumghat area in Mirsarai upazila in Chittagong early yesterday.
The deceased was Md Dulal, 40, son of late Hashmat Ali of Noakhali.
Jorarganj highway police said the truck hit by the Dhaka-bound covered van from behind knocked the on-duty policemen around 2:30am.
