Two buffaloes lying dead in Chattogram’s Anwara area yesterday. At least 13 buffaloes died after drinking water of Gobadia canal mixed with poisonous waste, which was allegedly released from the state-owned Chittagong Urea Fertiliser Ltd factory. Its General Manager Mainul Haque said they are looking into any possible faults in their Effluent Treatment Plant.
