Two women working at a carpet-making factory in Khulna’s Boyra Rayermohol area. Bright carpets are being produced after mixing different types of colours with jute yarn. After the closure of jute mills in Khulna, some employees have switched to carpet-making. A machine can manufacture 130 yards of carpet daily and the wholesale price of each yard is Tk 110.
