Three people were killed and three others injured in separate road accidents in Chittagong, Gaibandha and Naogaon yesterday.
Our staff correspondent from Chittagong reports, a man was killed as a bus hit him from behind in Chittagong city yesterday morning.
The deceased was identified as Mohammed Faruk Kamal, 32, son of Saleh Ahmed, of Panir Chhara in Ramu of Cox's Bazar district.
Amir Hossain, a witness, said the accident occurred as Faruk, a bus supervisor, was hit by the bus at the bus station in Notun bridge area at around 11:00am.
He was rushed to Chittagong Medical College Hospital where he was declared dead, said the hospital outpost police.
Our Gaibandha correspondent reports, a bicyclist was killed instantly and three others, including the truck helper, were injured as a truck fell into a ditch beside Rangpur-Bogra highway in Ekberpur area yesterday morning.
The deceased was identified as Ayub Ali Sarker, of village Azampur in Pirganj upazila.
Our Chapainawabganj correspondent reports, a JDC examinee die as a truck hit her on Telipara intersection in Manda upazila of Naogaon yesterday.
The victim Shahinur Khatun alias Sonia, 13, daughter of Sohir Uddin of Mullukpur village in the upazila, was a student of Mullukpur Dakhil Madrasa.
