Sammilita Ainjibi Samannay Parishad, the ruling Alwami League backed white panel, won 12 posts, including that of the president, in the Dhaka Bar Association election for 2013-14 on February 27 and 28.
The remaining 13 posts, including that of the general secretary, were won by Jatiyatabadi Ainjibi Oikya Parishad, the BNP-Jamaat backed blue panel.
Some 7,134 out of 13,244 voters cast their votes.
Kazi Md Nazibullah Hiru was elected president by defeating Md Mohosin Miah. Hiru bagged 4,154 votes while Mohosin got 2,868 votes.
Khorshed Mia Alam was elected general secretary with 3,478 votes, defeating Mohammad Mosharraf Hossain who got 2,490 votes.
From the white panel Mohammad Maksud was elected library secretary, Mohammad Nazrul Islam Shamim treasurer, Tahmina Taherin Mumu cultural secretary, Md Golam Sarwar Khan Zakir senior assistant general secretary and Md Hafizur Rahman Tota assistant general secretary.
From the blue panel, Abdul Malek was elected senior vice-president and Md Eklasur Rahman was elected vice-president.
Of the 15 executive member posts, six were elected from the white panel while nine were elected from the blue panel.
