Freight train's locomaster, assistant locomaster, guard suspended

Bangladesh Railway has suspended the locomaster, assistant locomaster, and guard of the freight train involved in the Bhairab collision today.
BR Director General Quamrul Islam confirmed it to The Daily Star saying that they have taken steps following preliminary investigation.
He also said BR has formed two separate committees to investigate into the incident.
Dhaka Divisional office of Bangladesh Railway has formed a four member committee to investigate today's train accident.

Dhaka Divisional Transport Officer Khairul Kabir will lead the committee.
The committee was asked to submit a report within three working days.

BR's East Zonal Office in Chattogram formed a five member probe committee led by Chief Operating Superintendent of East Zone Shahidul Islam.
The committee was asked to submit the report within five working days, the DG said.
