4 students stabbed by outsider in Gaibandha school, one held
Police arrested a woman for stabbing four students in a classroom in Sadullapur upazila of Gaibandha district today.
The arrestee was identified as Jannati Akter of Goyeshpur village under Sadullapur upazila.
Shafiqul Islam Shafik, officer-in-charge of Sadullapur Police Station, said Jannati entered VI classroom of Jamalpur Girls' School and stabbed four girls with a knife, leaving them injured.
Jannati was caught red-handed in the classroom.
The injured students -- Mohona, Setu, Rabeya and Mitu -- were taken to Sadullapur Upazila Health Complex.
On information, police arrested the woman.
Locals, students and teachers staged demonstrations demanding justice.
