Liberation War Affairs Senior Secy Khaja Miah made OSD

The government has made Senior Secretary of the Ministry of Liberation War Affairs Khaja Miah an officer on special duty (OSD).

The Ministry of Public Administration today issued a circular regarding this matter. No further details were provided.

The 10th BCS officer Khaja Miah joined public administration in 1991 and was appointed as the secretary of the liberation war affairs ministry in 2021. He was promoted to senior secretary on June 1.

The development comes after some media outlets reported that Khaja Miah had attended some views-exchange programmes in his village in Narail recently, and said he wanted to take part in the upcoming national election as a candidate of ruling Awami League.
