ICT courtroom equipped for digital trial coverage

The International Crimes Tribunal (ICT) has implemented advanced digital technology to facilitate smooth courtroom operation, Chief Prosecutor Tajul Islam Tajul said in a Facebook post today.

The upgrade will facilitate the trial process for cases related to crimes against humanity committed in July and August.

"Any stage of the trial may now be broadcast--either live or as recorded footage--on mainstream or social media, subject to the court's approval," Tajul said.
