UN Secretary-General António Guterres will undertake an official visit to Bangladesh from March 13 to 16 at the invitation of Chief Adviser Muhammad Yunus.

The Office of the United Nations Secretary-General has confirmed the date, according to a statement of the foreign ministry today.

The invitation was handed over by Khalilur Rahman, high representative of the chief adviser on the Rohingya issue and priority matters, during his meeting with the secretary general February 7 in New York.
